Jason is a lifelong resident of Brooklyn and a proud graduate of the Brooklyn class of 2005. Brittany, Jason's wife, is a graduate of the Brooklyn class of 2008 and has worked in the Preschool Program for Brooklyn City Schools for over 10 years. He is the proud father of three amazing boys, Hunter, Maxwell and Finn, who are all future Brooklyn graduates.
Jason obtained his Associate's Degree in Business Management and has used it to learn and grow throughout his 13 years with Nestle. Since beginning his career at Nestle, Jason served on multiple committees including safety, cost savings and innovation. He served over 3 years as a Production Lead, where his responsibilities included leading up to 40 people at time while focusing on efficiency, operations and flexibility. Currently, Jason serves as a Technician for Nestle Research and Development, where he focuses on innovation and helping to bring new ideas to life.
Over the last ten years, Jason has coached the Brooklyn Track and Field team, having coached multiple state championship qualifiers and a state champion high jumper in 2022. Watching the growth of all the young men and women he has coached is what he is most passionate about. Jason takes tremendous pride in the relationships he has built with his current and former Brooklyn student athletes. The joy of watching each student reach his or her individual goals and accomplishments is the reason it has been so easy for him to coach as long as he has. Now, Jason is motivated for the opportunity to help provide the best educational opportunities possible to the well-deserving students of Brooklyn.
To say that Jason cares about Brooklyn Schools would be an understatement. Brooklyn City Schools have been a major part of his life and will continue to be as his children grow up in this great city!
