Top Priorities

Brooklyn City Schools has the potential to be a top school district of choice.  If elected, Jason would help achieve this by prioritizing:

Open and frequent communication amongst stakeholders.

• Ensure consistent dialog between community members, the board, staff, families, students and the city in multiple formats.

Increased student opportunities.

• Expand the variety of activities available to all students, during and after school hours.

Ensuring Brooklyn students are prepared to thrive.

• Continue to implement and facilitate the district's Portrait of a Hurricane, focusing on students becoming "real-world" ready.

Strategically using resources to enhance the school campus.

• Focus on responsible use of funding to incorporate modern use of technology, increased safety features, as well as student comfort and accessibility.
